In this article, Famous-Places lists some typical beach for your reference. Each has its distinct personality, so make sure you will find the beach that right for you.
Koh Mun Nork-Desert island
Are you looking for a real desert island in Thailand? Koh Mun Nork, a small island in the Gulf of Siam with one small resort along with a beautiful beach, could just be among the only places in the country where youll feel total peace and tranquility. The area is just accessible by private boat organized by the proprietors from the Mun Nork Island Resort (the trip takes just under an hour or so). Relaxing salas and sleeping sacks us dot the beach and also the resort itself has a couple dozen villas, so even if its book solid, theres no crowd.
This privately-owned island hosts just one operation, the not-so-imaginatively named Mun Nork Island Resort, perched on the most effective area of the island. Set towards the east of Ko Samet and arrived at with a 45-minute slow boat from Laem Tarn (near Kleang), its within easy weekender distance of Bangkok. Take a look at a time, and you are certain to pencil it in like a regular getaway.
Koh Chang Beaches
Koh Chang, Thailand’s second largest island, as well as the biggest in Eastern Thailand. With approximately 5,000 permanent residents this island is not heavily populated, but tourism (and development) has increased dramatically in the past few years . Koh Chang has everything you want in a tropical island white sandy beaches, lots of palm trees, and warm, clear water. But for now it doesn’t have the big crowds you’ll find in more famous Phuket or Koh Samui. Thats not to say its entirely undeveloped. You will find resorts and enough roads, restaurants and supermarkets, too (and more of each on the way).
The island is also home to a variety of wildlife, including a good selection of birds, snakes, deer and a number of elephants. The destination and its vicinity are wonderful places for snorkeling, diving and jungle hiking. The discovery of the island as a tourist destination since 2000 has brought on a large amount of rapid development, and while still far quieter than places like Phuket or Ko Samui, its probably better to go now than later. Regarding services and activities specifically aimed at tourists prices have reached such a level that the islanders are pricing themselves out of the market when compared to the other islands.
Koh Samui Beaches
The island of Koh Samui is ringed with beaches. Which ones should you visit? Take this guide to find the best Koh Samui beach for yourself.
Ko Samui also known as an island inside Gulf of Thailand, some 700 km south of Bangkok and about 80 km from the eastern coastline of Southern Thailand.
Ko Samui is a quite big island. The most famous and commercialised beaches are Chaweng and Lamai, while the northern beaches together with their adjacent villages of Mae Nam, Bophut, Bang Rak (Big Buddha) and Choeng Mon are usually more peaceful choices, and the west coast beaches are still (comparatively) quiet.
Phuket Island is home to many beaches, some are extremely beautiful, some not so much. The vast majority of the beautiful Phuket beaches fall along the western coast of the island, but they are not limited to there. There are a few beaches of note located on the south of the island that may very well be some of the top Phuket beaches.
It is only natural to get caught up in the beauty of the beaches on the Island of Phuket, but even though you are on holiday, don’t forget the dangers of Phuket beaches
Kata beach is a popular stop over for many tourists as it is one of the most beautiful Phuket beaches. Despite all of the tourist activity located on and around the beach, Kata beach is still very beautiful. The beach is lined with casuarina trees that offer a relaxing shade to those afraid of the sun.
If sun and the sands are in your mind this summer then you can head straight for Kata Beach in Phuket Island. One of the most attractive tourist destinations in Thailand, this beach is well known for its serenity and immense natural beauty. Still, if youre not bothered by crowds or overdevelopment, youll most likely think it is the most wonderful place in the world.
What you should expect: Koh Phi Phi was hard hit during the 2004 Tsunami but has returned to full pressure. The crowd of islands, made up of Koh Phi Phi Don and Koh Phi Phi Ley, along with a few other small islands, is considered the most famous and beautiful places in Thailand but can be very crowded. It is often described as a point of packing to return, although Koh Phi Phi is progressively going trendy because you will find luxury resorts more and more each year.
Railey Beach is a not crowded island and only accessible by boat, have a sense of it as a desert island and the feeling that you will not find on most famous beach destinations of the country . Railey Beach is surrounded by clear blue waters, small islands on the horizon and majestic cliffs. The only crowded during the peak tourist season.
